I had the best time with this sweet family! Erika and Lucas are a wonderful couple. Their kiddos, Canyon and Sage, absolutely adore them! I've been capturing this family since Erika was pregnant with Canyon. It's been an incredible honor to watch their family grow through my lens.
One of the best parts of being a photographer is telling the story of families one chapter at a time. There is so much change that happens from year to year. Every passing chapter captured on camera becomes even more precious as time moves forward.
For their family session in this chapter of their life, we headed to the beach at Bodega Bay! I love this location for families because it brings out the playfulness in everyone. Nothing will call out genuine smiles like getting your fingers and toes in the sand or splashing in the water. Canyon and Sage were all for it!
This family is so loving and sweet. There was a lot of laughter and giggles happening throughout their session. Their happiness and joy just radiated through the camera. I know that Canyon and Sage will look back on their golden childhood with fond memories of their loving mom and dad.
Bodega Bay is such a nostalgic and beautiful location for family sessions. Memories are just waiting to be made on its shores! Fall is the best time of year to book your family session on the beach. The weather is typically the best at the beach this time of year.
Great weather is key to really enjoying your outdoor session. And of course, so is play! During family sessions with me, we don't like the word "no". We let your kiddos embrace their childhood. We capture your family as authentically as possible in the season you're in. This allows you to really see your children's personalities in this season of their life. These are the moments worth savoring forever!
