I’ve had the privilege of meeting several clients over the years I’ve been in the photography industry. What’s even better is when those clients return time & time again, and I get to become friends with them too! That’s exactly the case with Leslie & Lejf, as well as their baby boy, Brynwulf. It was great to get to catch up with them during Brynwulf’s one year milestone session at Rohnert Park, CA.
Leslie and Lejf are such incredible parents and I just love this family dearly! They’re always fun in sessions and so free-spirited that they go with the flow for any shots I suggest. They make my job so easy because they are naturally so loving that I don’t have to direct them to dote over sweet little Brynwulf. Baby boy is also gorgeous, isn’t he? I couldn’t get enough shots of his beautiful eyes or precious little cheeks.
I can’t believe how quickly his first year of life has gone by. It doesn’t seem like it should be time for a one year milestone session yet! In true almost-toddler fashion, Brynwulf was very curious of his surroundings and there is nothing like the wonder in a child’s eyes. Rohnert Park was the perfect location to celebrate this little guy!
Leslie did an amazing job planning such a beautiful wardrobe for her family. This is such a great example of how to coordinate colors without stressing about it too much! Leslie’s ultra-feminine dress came from Selkie and isn’t it a thing of beauty? Lejf’s shirt complemented the floral details so well, as did the shade of green on little Brynwulf’s overalls. I love a flowy dress for outdoor family sessions because the fabric creates movement, which can make for such beautiful shots.
Lejf, Leslie, and Brynwulf spent their evening with me laughing and playing in the golden hour light. The entire session was Lejf and Leslie enjoying being with their baby boy for such a monumental time in his young life. If you look at the photos, it’s easy to see that there is a ton of love between these three. It’s such a treat to be present for these meaningful little moments and being able to capture them for this sweet family!
This family is so fun-loving and tender, I can’t say enough good things about them. Leslie & Lejf, thank you for trusting me over and over again with your family photos! To little Brynwulf, happy birthday little one! I can’t wait to see what the next year holds for you all.
