As a Sonoma County photographer for nearly a decade, I've had the privilege of documenting so many special moments for local and visiting families alike. There's something truly magical about capturing a family's unique story against the backdrop of our stunning landscapes. Recently, I had the pleasure of photographing a beautiful maternity session for a couple visiting from out of town.

They were staying at a nearby resort and wanted to remember this special time in their lives with a photo session that felt authentic to their trip.

As a Sonoma County resident for over 20 years, I knew just the spot. We chose Sugarloaf Ridge State Park, a perfect location that was not only close to their lodging but also allowed them to bring their adorable dog. The rolling hills and open spaces provided the ideal setting for a gorgeous golden hour session.
