If I could describe Krisztina and Michael's maternity session in one word, that word would be magic. Krisztina has an artist's soul and it truly shone through in her portraits. Having a maternity session that feels true to you and your style is so important! Her maternity session has a fantasy, earth goddess feel that truly celebrates the wonder of pregnancy and motherhood.
We found the perfect location in Napa to document this special season for their growing family. Krisztina and Michael's maternity pictures were captured during golden hour in the rolling hills of Napa, California. We found a wide, open space with a vineyard in the backdrop. The views took my breath away, but not as much as Krisztina did!
A Goddess of Motherhood
Krisztina curated her own look for her maternity session, and I fell in love with her vision! Her white, lace dress was adorned with beautiful detail and texture that really elevated the session. I love the way the sleeves and fabric flow, while leaving just enough open space to highlight Krisztina's beautiful tattoos.
Have I mentioned how much I love photographing tattoos? Each one has a unique story, and I can't describe how lovely they look on camera. Krisztina is an artist and illustrator herself so showing off the beautiful work of her tattoos was a must! I loved the headpiece she wore during the session. She is a true goddess of motherhood!
Go Outside the Box for Your Maternity Session
I can't express how much I admire Krisztina and Michael for thinking outside of the box for their maternity session. This session was so fun, creative and unique! Don't be afraid to reach outside of the standard for your session. Choose a fun theme or a quirky location to make your photos stand apart from the crowd. There's nothing I love more as a photographer than embracing creativity with my clients!
