Magical Maternity Moments Among the Redwoods: Riverfront Regional Park, Santa Rosa { Pregnancy Photographer, Sonoma CA }

There's something truly enchanting about capturing the anticipation and joy of expecting parents, and when you combine that with one of my absolute favorite photo locations, the results are simply magical!

I recently had the pleasure of a maternity photo session with a wonderful couple at Riverfront Regional Park in Northern Santa Rosa, nestled among the majestic redwoods.


This park holds a special place in my heart for so many reasons, especially when it comes to family and/or maternity photography. For expecting parents, the ease of access is a huge plus – think easy parking and perfectly flat walking trails. This means less stress and more time enjoying the beautiful surroundings, which is exactly what you want during a maternity session.

What truly sets Riverfront Regional Park apart, though, is how every single photo spot feels like it's within a few feet of each other. This allows for so much variety in a short amount of time, creating a diverse gallery of images without having to trek long distances. And the light! Oh, the light in the redwoods is always incredible. It filters through the canopy in such a soft, ethereal way, creating that truly magical glow you see in these photos.

It's truly a beautiful location year-round, always offering a stunning backdrop, but there's something extra special about it for maternity photos.

I loved meeting this happy couple and witnessing their excitement as they embark on this incredible next chapter in their lives. Their joy was palpable, and it was an honor to capture these precious memories for them. I can't wait to meet their little one soon for their newborn session!
