A Beautiful Family Beach Session on the Sonoma Coast { Maternity Photographer, Windsor CA }

Recently, I had the absolute pleasure of photographing a beautiful maternity session at the beach. This session was extra special because the parents, who both work for the Coast Guard, actually met each other through their careers. The beach holds such a deep and sentimental meaning for them, and it was the perfect location to celebrate this exciting chapter of their lives.

Their little boy was an absolute joy to capture! He was truly in his element at the beach, running around and playing in the sand like it was his second home. His infectious smile lit up every photo, and he was such a trooper even when the weather turned a bit chilly. He stayed full of energy, full of joy, and was the absolute sweetest snuggler. You could already see how proud and excited he was to become a big brother soon—it was such a heartwarming thing to witness.

I absolutely adore beach sessions like this one. The Sonoma Coast provided a stunning backdrop for these precious moments, with its rugged beauty and soft, diffused light. It’s always so special to document the love and connection of a family in a place that means so much to them. I can’t wait to see this family’s next chapter unfold as they prepare to welcome their newest member!
